The main focus here at Shining Waters Farm is raising top quality polled ADCA registered Irish Dexter Cattle and ARI registered Huacaya Alpacas. As such, we very often have many animals for sale and will attempt to keep this section updated regularly. Below you will find pictures of animals currently available. We are expecting more calves and crias in the next several months. The best way to ensure you have the most up to date information is simply to give us a call at 540-520-6322 and we will gladly answer any questions you may have or place your name on our waiting list. Currently for sale ... We have three gorgeous polled red female calves (2-3 mos. old) for sale right now, all out of SWF Rusty. They will be weaned soon and ready to go. See the pictures immediately below please. We also have very good looking bull calves - two are red and one is black (one homozygous polled, pictured below at 8 months and 14 months) and have outstanding conformation and gentle dispositions. This is Smokin' Joe, a gorgeous black polled bull calf born in 08-2012 pictured at 1 month old. He already is showing signs of the "blocky" look and has excellent conformation thus far. He is the offspring of two Belle Fourche animals and we expect him to exhibit high quality characteristics in both appearance and temperament. This is Dexter Downs Mr. IncREDible at the age of 2 months. He was born on our farm in October of 2011 from our very own Belle Fourche Fifi. A literally "perfect" looking bull calf with a gentle, loving disposition, he is pictured below at the age of 11 months winning the title of Grand Champion of the largest county fair on the East Coast! This bull calf is an excellent example of the sort of high quality offspring we are dedicated to producing here at Shining Waters Farm. |
